Day 1
Arrival at Marrakech
On the first day of your Moroccan adventure, we'll pick you up at Marrakech Airport and whisk you away to your Riad. As soon as you arrive, the magic of Marrakech unfolds before your eyes. You'll delve into the heart of the city, exploring its most iconic attractions. From the bustling Jamma el Fna square to the breathtaking Koutoubia Mosque, the enchanting souks, magnificent palaces, and the wealth of museums, you'll be immersed in the vibrant tapestry of Marrakech.
After indulging in a delectable lunch at a local restaurant, you'll have the afternoon to explore the city at your own pace, taking in the captivating neighborhoods of Gueliz, the serene Menara Gardens, and the mesmerizing Majorelle Gardens.
Day 2
Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
Our second day starts with a journey through the Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views as we traverse the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We'll arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou, a location that has graced the silver screen in famous films such as Gladiator and the HBO sensation, Game of Thrones. Our adventure continues in Ouarzazate, where you'll visit the Atlas Film Studios and explore the Kasbah within the city.
As we leave Marrakech behind, we head towards the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual Festival of Roses, and then proceed to the enchanting Dades Valley, where you'll spend the night in a charming hotel, marking the first night of our 10 Days Desert tour, Imperial Cities & Marrakech, away from the bustling city.
Day 3
Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
Our journey continues with a visit to the Todra Gorge, a captivating and colorful narrow canyon that beckons outdoor enthusiasts. We then travel through the Ziz Valley, reaching Erfoud, an oasis town celebrated as the gateway to the Sahara Desert, famous for its unique fossils. Here, you'll have the opportunity to visit a local factory producing artisanal and home decor items crafted from fossils. A local shop provides the chance to acquire these exceptional items as souvenirs.
From Erfoud, we head to Rissani, where you'll explore the local souk before embarking on a drive toward the desert, ultimately reaching Merzouga. At a designated checkpoint, we leave our vehicle and embark on a camel ride into the vast desert dunes, accompanied by experienced guides. We'll arrive at the Merzouga Desert Camp, where you'll spend the night in traditional Berber tents. The night will be a sensory feast, featuring a unique starlit Berber dinner accompanied by tribal music around a crackling desert campfire.
Day 4
Merzouga Desert - Nomadic Families - Erg Chebbi
Day four is dedicated to exploring the mesmerizing Merzouga Desert. You have the choice of experiencing this stunning landscape your way, whether on a camel trek or in the comfort of a 4x4 vehicle. Our journey includes a visit to Khamlia village, renowned for its traditional music. And, of course, we can't miss the breathtaking sunset over the dunes of the Sahara Desert. You'll spend the night at a Small Riad or hotel, reveling in the tranquility and beauty of the desert.
Day 5
Merzouga - Errachidia - Midelt
After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, we'll journey past Rissani and Erfoud, making a stop in Midelt, nestled in the Atlas Mountains, for lunch. In Midelt, you'll have the opportunity to explore at your own pace or retire to a local hotel where you'll spend the night.
Day 6
Midelt - Ifran - Fes
On day six, our adventure leads us further into the enchanting town of Midelt. Following that, we'll drive to Azrou, a charming forest resort where you may encounter and even feed the wild monkeys that call this place home. Our journey then takes us to Ifrane and finally to Fes, where you'll stay overnight in a local hotel.
Day 7
Fes Guided Tour
Today is dedicated to exploring the ancient city of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Wander through its narrow alleys and winding streets, taking in the splendors of this historic city. Your tour will include visits to the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, and other cultural and historical sites like the Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After an enlightening afternoon exploring the medina, enjoy a delightful dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to a local riad for the night.
Day 8
Fes - Chaouen
On day eight, we depart from Fes to the captivating town of Chaouen, nestled in the picturesque Rif Mountains. Explore the medina of Chaouen and enjoy a peaceful night's rest at a local riad.
Day 9
Chaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
After breakfast and a morning of exploration in the Blue Pearl (Chaouen), we'll continue our journey to Morocco's capital, Rabat. Explore the city's main attractions and savor a delightful lunch before proceeding to Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco, where you'll spend the night.
Day 10
Casablanca Airport
Our final day is dedicated to exploring the iconic attractions and monuments of Casablanca, including the stunning Hassan II Mosque. After a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant, we'll provide a transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of our 10 Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech.
