Itineraries

Day 1

Marrakech To Ouarzazat

On day 1 of the tour, you'll depart at 8:30 am from your hotel or the Marrakech Menara airport. The journey starts with a scenic drive through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi N'Tichka pass, with opportunities to stop and appreciate the stunning views. If you like, you can also visit an argan oil cooperative to learn about the production process and health benefits of this Moroccan product. Next, you'll head to Ait Ben Haddou, a village famous for its Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the location for movies such as Gladiator and The Jewel of the Nile. Lunch will be in the village, followed by a visit to Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Morocco and the gateway to the desert. Here, you can explore the city and visit the movie studios if you're interested. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2

Ouarzazat to Merzouga

On Day 2, after breakfast, the tour continues towards the Merzouga desert. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to admire the adobe kasbahs and Berber villages and marvel at the valley's natural beauty. After lunch in Alnif, you'll arrive at the impressive Merzouga dunes. After a hospitality tea, you'll leave your unnecessary luggage at the hotel and take a camel ride for about an hour and a half to the foot of the Great Dune, where you'll witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a Berber camp in a tent under the stars.

Day 3

Explore Merzouga desert

On Day 3, you'll wake up before dawn to witness the sunrise over the dunes. After a refreshing shower and breakfast, you'll visit Khamlia, a village whose inhabitants are from Mali, and enjoy a cup of tea while listening to a concert of Gnawa music. Next, you'll head to Rissani, the ancient capital, and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the bustling market. You'll also have the opportunity to taste a Berber pizza. Back at the hotel, you'll have a free afternoon to climb the dunes and enjoy a romantic sunset. After dinner, you can expect a show with Berber drums. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a hotel facing the desert dunes.

Day 4

Merzouga desert to Dades Gorges

On Day 4, you'll visit the Todra Gorges, pass through Erfoud to visit the fossilized marble factory, and then continue to the palm of Touroug and Tinejdad. The Todra Gorges is a unique place with enormous vertical walls, making it a paradise for climbers. Lunch will be at the Gorges, followed by free time to walk and admire the beauty of the area. In the afternoon, you'll continue to the Dades Valley through Boumalne and visit the Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a nice hotel near the Dades River.

Day 5

Dades Gorges To Marrakech

On Day 5, after breakfast, you'll embark on a journey through a path with many different kasbahs. You'll also visit the Valley of Roses, the great palm grove of Skoura, and the Kasbah of Taourirt, the former residence of Glaoui Pacha Marrakech. On the way back to Marrakech, you'll stop at the Tizi Ntichka mountain pass to enjoy the stunning views. You'll arrive in Marrakech around 5 pm, with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6

Transfer To the airport

On the last day of the tour, Day 6, you'll have free time in Marrakech before being transferred to the airport according to your flight schedule.
