Itineraries

Day 1

Tangier Airport - Hotel in Tangier

We will start our 9 days itinerary in Morocco by picking you up from the Airport of Ibn Battuta or one of the ports. Then, we will take you to your accommodation to relax. Depending on your time of arrival, it’s possible that we take you to walk in the old medina.

Also if you have already arrived Tangier few days before then we will pick up you from your Hotel then start the tour

Day 2

Tangier - Chefchaouen

On this day, we will visit the attractions of Tangier then we will drive to spend the night in Chefchaouen. Firstly, we will visit the America Legation, the first building of the US government outside its country, and have a walk in the old medina. Then, we will visit the mysterious cave of Hercules at Cape Spartel. After that, we will drive to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl, city of Morocco. There, we will walk up to the church of the Spanish to watch the sunset and to see Chefchaouen from the top. Later, we will take you to your accommodation.

Day 3

Chefchaouen - Fez

On the third day of our 9 days in Morocco itinerary, we will be visiting Chefchaouen and we will spend the night in Fes. Therefore, we will walk Chefchaouen to admire its beautiful blue walls. We will head to the Kasbah Museum, the first building of Chefchaouen, it’s where some historical information about the city. After that, we will visit Ras El Ma waterfalls before we head to the square of Wetat Lhmam, where to relax to a glass of tea and the entertainment of the locals. In the afternoon, we will drive to Fes, we will drop you to spend the night in a traditional Riad “hotel”.

Day 4

Guided tour sightseeing Fes

We dedicate the day to explore the Highlights of Fes city with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco.

Firstly, we start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then the well preserved medieval Medina, that is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You will visit the Blue gate or Bab Boujloud, the entrance of the old Medina. Which appears to be labyrinth of alleyways and streets. You will enter the Medina to visit The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries. And finally the Quaraouin mosque and university, the oldest university in the world. After that, we leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter also known as “the Mellah”. Then, we drive to an ancient fortress for panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Finally, return to your Riad.

Day 5

Fez - Ifran - Midlet - Sahara Desert of Merzouga

After breakfast, you will leave Fes travelling towards Merzouga via Midelt and the Ziz valley. Today you will travel via the Ifrane city, a beautiful mountain village, named the Switzerland of Morocco. Here you will also stop at the cedar forest on the middle Atlas Mountains. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains and stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest one in Morocco – where you will have the opportunity to see the Barbary apes. After that, your journey continues to Midelt along the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. After lunch in Midelt, you’ll be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau, seeing how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the province of the south-east Errachidia city. Afterwards, you’ll travel along the fantastic Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Then take camel ride in the dunes of Sahara Desert of Merzouga to reach the camp where you will have the night. It's advisable to bring with you a backpack to take it over camels beceause you can't take all your luggage over camels, You will leave your luggage in the car while riding the camel.

Day 6

Merzouga – Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

You will wake up early in the morning to watch what will may be the best sunrise of your life over sand dunes of Sahara Erg Chebbi dunes. After wonderul sunrise over sand dunes you will have Berber Breakfast in the camp, Then you’ll peacefully back to the village of Merzouga with your driver. Enroute you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes - changing with the light as the day progresses. Then you’ll leave for Rissani , Tinghir, and Todgha gorges - the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as "monkey toes". Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy guest house overlooking the Dades Valley with diner and breakfast.

Day 7

Dades Valley- Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Hadou - Marrakech

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will start travelling through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. The road through Dades Valley is called the way of the thousand Kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. You will stop at Kalaat M'Gouna -the centre of rose’s valley-, where you will have the option to visit the cooperative for the roses, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Marrakech via the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Built by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the 19th century, now the Kasbah is a house of many Glaoui people. Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have the opportunity to explore the process of producing the Argan oil- existing only in morocco – by Berber women in their cooperative, before arriving at your overnight accommodation in Marrakech.

Day 8

Guided tour sightseeing Marrakech

After breakfast in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech; «the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After Lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. On the afternoon, you will have some free time to wonder by yourself the other parts of the city

Day 9

Marrakech - Airport Casablanca

After breakfast in the Riad, we will leave Marrakesh and head to Casablanca for a visit the biggest mosque in Casablanca, Hassan 2 Mosque, After that We will transfer you to the airport if you have the flight that day or drop off you in your Hotel in Casablanca.
